Our Heritage
Six Generations of Family Tradition
The Mahnken family has been farming in North Lilydale since the late 1870s. From prize-winning potatoes to renowned sugar plums, our farm has a rich history of diverse agricultural pursuits.
Rick Mahnken, a sixth-generation farmer, and his wife, Elizabeth, have continued the family tradition with a modern twist. They moved to Tasmania in 2010 and began selling direct to customers, ensuring the highest quality and full traceability of their beef.
